Cross stitch pattern of the cactus in Toriel’s house at the beginning of Undertale. Did you know, if you return to the cactus during the walk-about portion of the true pacifist ending, it will say that the cactus wasn’t waiting for you to come back or anything. It’s tiny details like this that make the game so great. This pattern is meant to be stitched on black Aida however it can be stitched on white if you use black thread for the lettering and outline. I love Undertale, but I don’t think it really needs a sequel. It stands so well on it’s own and adding on to the story would take away from the ending. I wouldn’t be so opposed to a prequel, maybe something exploring when Gaster was around. It could work, but I kind of like the mystery about him. What I’m really looking forward to is a new IP from Toby Fox. I’d love to see him tackle a different genre with the same care for characterization and humor that he brought to RPGs. I’d like to see what he would do with tactics games like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. These types of games are almost entirely about combat with only a few chances to turn your enemy to your side. It would be interesting to see how a diplomatic approach would change a tactics game.
