My Patron, Sarah B, is an ancient water spirit who lives in an oasis in the middle of a vast desert. The oasis used to be much bigger, but Sarah still works hard to protect those plants that still thrive there.

I love Lilo and Stitch. There are a lot of movies that just don’t hold up when you watch them as an adult, but Lilo and Stitch is not one of them. They did a good job of anchoring the comedic action in a very real setting. It touches on adult fears of losing out on a life you could have lived and the things you give up for family. Watching it again, Lilo’s relatable quirks and troubles fitting in, become all too clear signs of a child who needs help and stability in her life. I love how Stitch isn’t just an annoying troublemaker character just there for laughs. He has a solid part to play in the emotional plot, and the ending could have easily been much much sadder without him.
