I wouldn’t say Power Puff Girls was my favorite show growing up, but it was pretty high up there. I loved all the weird villains and funny situations. As a kid, I really liked Bubbles, but now that I’ve meet Tara Strong, I’m going to have to change my favorite girl to Buttercup. This is why they say you should never meet your heroes. Tara had three panels scheduled at my local nerd con: My Little Pony, DC Super Hero Girls, and a generic children’s voice actor panel. She showed up for only one of them. Guess which one. The only one that was set in the largest room with all the cameras, the DC Super Hero Girls panel. It was basically a forty minute commercial. She barely answered any questions and didn’t give an explanation as to why she skipped out on the other panels. So yeah, Bubbles is no longer my favorite girl. The generic voice actor panel turned out phenomenal without her though, so that’s a plus mostly because the voice actor for Wakko Warner, Jess Harnell, is hysterical in real life.
