I was too young to watch Beetlejuice when I was little. I know you’ll laugh at me, but I thought it was too scary. I also avoided reading Goosbumps or watching Are You Afraid of the Dark even though those were super tame. It’s weird, there aren’t really any horror shows aimed at kids anymore, unless you count Monster High which isn’t even trying to be scary, or Stranger Things which is more aimed at adults even if they have child characters. It’s kind of sad when you have Slenderman and Momo, but no shows. And, it’s not like kids don’t like horror nowadays, Five Nights at Freddy’s proved that. I feel like the time is ripe for the next big horror cartoon to explode in popularity.
