I realize that I hold a double standard in my life. Today I sat down to eat a meal of premade grocery store sushi and a ginger cookie. You might know where I’m going with this. All my life I have skipped over the ginger and wasabi that come with sushi. However, I happily ate a ginger cookie instead. I tasted the sushi ginger today for the first time in years and though I am not convinced that ginger should be served with sushi, I know realize that I should have given it a chance earlier. It’s just, when you’re used to not eating something, it’s hard to change, even though I love ginger. Humans are such strange creatures.

Oh right, this was requested by my patron, Samantha Delgado. Not a paid thing or a custom, just a suggestion, so it’s free for everyone. Thanks for all your support Samantha!

  1. Haven’t checked in here in a little while so when I seen so many posts I had to check them out. Your a lot like a friend I haven’t talked to in a while, brought happy memories back. ^_^ I’ve never said anything here before but I needed to smile today and your posts made me. I fell out of the habit of checking here for a while but it’s always nice when there a new post, you do great work and I felt it was time I told you so! I think I’ve finished 3 of your patterns and I’m working on others, no one else’s patterns are ever close to what I’m looking for but yours are always spot on. ^_^

    • Oh you’re so sweet, thank you! I try to keep a pretty consistent style, simple enough for just about anyone to pick up, but big enough to be accurate to the source material. I do what I can, and it warms my heart to be recognized.
