Of all the recurring minor characters in Sam and Max, I like Superball and Bosco the best. They don’t think they have any scenes together, which is a crying shame because they are complete opposites. Bosco is a paranoid conspiracy nut and Superball is a government operative specifically covering up those conspiracies. They would be such good friends.

So I found out that the reason Bosco and Jimmy Two-Teeth didn’t come back for season three was because of some controversy with the voice actor portraying racist stereotypes. I mean, I can understand Jimmy being an angry low life Bostonian is kind of problematic, but as far as I know, conspiracy theorist isn’t a common black stereotype. That’s more of a white hick thing to do. I guess, Telltale wanted to avoid backlash so instead of just removing Jimmy’s character, the fired the voice actor outright. The funny thing is that the kept Mamma Bosco!
