My Patron, E. Thomas, has sentient prehensile hair that has been growing ever since they were born. It’s over 12ft long by now, but it can curl into tiny tight ringlets so E. Thomas can blend in with the crowd. They can let go of all that energy at once with a SPROING to send an opponent flying!

So E. Thomas requested an Owl House pattern but left the details up to me, so of course I had to do something ridiculous with it.

Hooty and Eda are my favorite characters and I’m so excited for season two to maybe give some backstory on their relationship. Hooty isn’t with Eda in the flashbacks so there has to be a reason why he decided to house a fugitive.

I wonder if there are other Hooties or is there just the one? Is Hooty like a hermit crab and one day he’ll need to find a bigger house to inhabit? I’m thinking the next size up would be Hexside! Can you imagine how powerful Hooty would become if he had control over an entire magical school? Or what if a whole family of Hooties shared the space and you were never sure which one you’d meet.

Why isn’t there already a fanfiction of this? I can’t be the only one who’s thought about Hooty’s potential growth as a character. There’s evidence of a potential face-heel turn, which would be fun, but I don’t think that’s where the show is going. But, giving Hooty a power boost? Yeah, I could see that happening.
