Patreon Only Little Witch Academia Cross Stitch Pattern Akko, Lotte, and Sucy

Little Witch Academia Preview

Cross stitch pattern of Akko, Lotte, and Sucy from Little Witch Academia. The images come from a chat sticker set. I’m not sure what chat stickers are, but they’re pretty easy to turn into cross stitch patterns which is nice. Donate to my Patreon for the PDF and PNG files for this pattern and many others.

I’m about halfway through Little Witch Academia and I am thoroughly enjoying it. There are a couple of pandering episodes, but for the most part the stories are good fun. There’s a refreshing lack of fanservice for a show starring teenaged girls at a magic school. Most characters are fleshed out pretty well so that you actually care what they do. The magic system is creative with a variety of different beasts and spells so that you can learn along with Akko. I’m always a sucker for systems that imply more depth. The animation is spectacular with that signature Trigger style that’s a little squishy and cartoony. Honestly, I loved Space Patrol Luluco for many the same reasons so if you like LWA, go check that out too.

The only weird bit is the use of the word “academia”. I know it roughly translates to stuff done at school, but every time I hear it I think of stuffy professors writing papers that only other professors will read because it’s one of only a few papers written on their stiflingly narrow area of study. It just doesn’t work with a quirky high energy anime like Little Witch Academia.
