Astro Boy was never a show that I watched consistently, but I have to appreciate it for how it inspired a lot of things that I do love, like Mega Man and Metropolis. I recently saw a print of Astro Boy in a museum as the only representation of Japanese animation in the whole huge building even with an exhibit specifically on Japanese art. It just shows how important Astro Boy is to western audiences who might only be able to recognize him and no other anime characters.

In other news, WordPress is still forcing me to the top of the page whenever it saves and I guess I’m not moving in two weeks. We’re just going to wait until the end of the lease instead.
