My Patron, Kenzi B, is a robot working under the city maintaining the old rail lines. Their body is specifically designed to flatten up against the curved walls of the tunnels whenever a train comes through. They get GPS signals from all the trains so they’ve never been hit once in all these years.

This is a big one folks. I just can’t imagine stitching every single one of those squares. 8 pages no doubt! The pixel art from this game looks fantastic though. So much better than anything I could have done.

I gave the cyberpunk look a try once and it’s much harder than I thought it would be. There’s a strange lack of midtone colors that takes some time to get used to, like there’s black and magenta, but not a lot of middle ground. I could never pull off that distinct high contrast look that cyberpunk has. Hopefully I’ll be able to practice more by studying the sprites from this game.

I’m a little hesitant to play VA-11. I hear that two of the main characters are boss and employee and I’m really not about that kind of power dynamic. Jill needs money to live and Dana pays her. Adding romance or even a close friendship to that power imbalance just rubs me the wrong way.
